How to get a good antioxidant level in your diet daily |

Everyone from left to right nowadays brags about the antioxidant level in their products. Even chips and junk food is now jumping on the marketing band wagon to promote their stuff by saying it has antioxidants that can help you. I recently read an article in a college magazine around campus talking about how it was actually healthy to drink alcohol - promoting it for its antioxidant value and all of this other garbage.
Though that may be true, there are so many other cons to having alcohol on a regular basis that it really shows you what marketing can do to influence a particular idea. Besides, do you really think college kids are going to go out and drink responsibly now that this article came out? On the contrary, they are more likely to drink even more because now they think it's "good for them" because of something so ridiculous.
Either way. In the end, getting a good antioxidant level in your body is not about following trends or listening to one study or another. It is about balance, and about diversity. The more stuff you put in your body that is good, especially from fruits and veggies, the better you are to get that antioxidant benefit.
So, drop the glass of wine and get a glass of V8 instead!
