There are many nutritional supplements out there, and by the FDA's rules really most anything can be one. Here are some of my favorite that I have found to be useful.

  1. Bija Bars - the BEST chocolate you have ever had. Seriously. I am a chocolate maniac, and this is the best stuff on earth. Available in white, dark or milk, these bars come at a whopping $4 each on average at most health food stores, though are loaded with raw oils, EFAs and very low in sugar. One taste and you will be hooked to this expensive addiction!
  2. Goji berries - available at most Asian markets, these can come dried or in juice form. Very high in antioxidants, these amazing little berries are great to snack on or add into your favorite tea. Try to get them at the Asian markets because at other places they will be extremely overpriced. To give you an example, these nutritional supplements cost about $30 per 12oz bottle of juice, whereas I've gotten a pound of berries for $8 at the market. Sheesh!
