anti aging

We Boomers thought we would stay young forever and now we can at least feel younger by taking advantage of all the advances in anti aging protocols.

In recent news on the anti aging front, researchers have identified a batch of genes that not only prevent cancer but slow the aging process in worms.  They are now looking to see if the genes have the same properties in humans and can be applied to developing anti aging medications.

Many of the genes in worms already have been mapped to counterparts in humans, and the team at the University of California, San Francisco, hopes to better understand some of the processes that cause both aging and cancer.

Of course, genetics plays a large role in anti aging.  Many people are predisposed to age more rapidly than others and there are several medical conditions that can cause premature aging.  But underlying it all is the idea that attitude is the best anti aging protocol there is.  With a good attitude, you can overcome even the aging process and stay healthy all your life.
